For weeks, intelligence reports seen by this outlet have contained reporting and documentation that mostly left-wing organizations have been gearing up – literally – for post-election chaos, and that is regardless of who wins.
Included in their planning, in addition to mass protests and violence, are disruptions of supply chains, attacks against infrastructure, occupation of federal property, shuttering of highways, and direct action against the economic lifeblood of our country.
Too many Americans believe that none of this violence will come to fruition if Joe Biden wins, but the intelligence doesn’t show that. It indicates that disruptions are being planned no matter who comes out on top.
And worse, thanks to two horrendous decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court not to stop Democratic attempts to steal elections in key battleground states including North Carolina and Pennsylvania, we’re almost assured of post-election violence and unrest.
That realization is beginning to sink in, as evidenced by an unprecedented action being taken by retail behemoth Walmart.
Walmart has removed all guns and ammunition from the sales floors of its U.S. stores this week, aiming to head off any potential theft of firearms if stores are broken into amid social unrest.
The retail giant, which sells firearms in about half of its 4,700 U.S. stores, said customers can still purchase guns and ammunition upon request even though they are no longer on display.
“We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers,” a Walmart spokesman said without noting how long the weapons and ammunition will be out of sight.
Just the other night, video of looters streaming in and out of a Walmart Supercenter in Philadelphia was broadcast on a local outlet from the air, indicating the wisdom of the retalier’s actions. In fact, the WSJ said that Walmart has taken similar steps at various times over the past several months since the George Floyd incident after a number of its stores were looted.
On September 3, 2019, Walmart responded to the August 3, 2019, shooting inside an El Paso, Texas, Walmart by banning open carry in stores nationwide.
Walmart CEO Doug McMillon announced the open carry ban, saying, “We believe the opportunity for someone to misinterpret a situation, even in open carry states, could lead to tragic results. We hope that everyone will understand the circumstances that led to this new policy and will respect the concerns of their fellow shoppers and our associates.”
Walmart also sent a letter to the White House, asking that Congress and President Trump join together to enact more gun control.
This all comes as the Department of Homeland Security, various state National Guard units, federal agencies, and local police all make preparations to deploy to protect life and property following what is certain to be a contentious election.
Worse, this unrest isn’t going to be short-lived. If you haven’t stocked up on some goods yet, you’re running out of time.
