WOW: Trump Just Changed His “Fake News” Media Insult, Here’s Why [WATCH]

Trump’s “fake news” media attack might be one of his best and longest-serving insults, as it’s been used constantly since he first started using it to describe all of the vicious, lie-filled attacks directed his way by the media.

But now he’s switching things up a bit and using a new term to describe the lying, corporate press, one that might be even more accurate and awesome than the already terrific “fake news” insult.

That new term is “corrupt news”, which he unveiled during his recent Mendon, Illinois rally.

The unveiling of the new term came during Trump’s discussion of the many attacks coming his way from the January 6th Committee, which he has taken to calling the “Unselect Committee” rather than “select committee.”

Speaking on his coming up with that funny term during the rally, Trump said:

Unselect Committee. Do you like that name? The unselect. I came up with that one. Of course every time I say that they say, ‘no, actually 100 years ago, somebody else came up with that term.’ I think I came up with it.

Continuing, he then moved from the Liz Cheney-dominated witch hunt to the media apparatchiks that constantly attack him, saying that “fake news” isn’t strong enough of a term to describe them and that a new one is needed, which is when he dropped the “corrupt news” moniker, saying:

And Fake news is another one right? That was a good one. That’s not strong enough, though. It’s more than fake news. It’s corrupt news.

Trump then turned from skewering the media as corrupt to pledging that he would continue fighting for America and explaining why it is that the left, RINOs, and media, the corrupt, establishment triumvirate, are so viciously and constantly attacking him, saying:

Never forget everything this corrupt establishment is doing to me is all about preserving their power and control over the American people. If I renounced my beliefs, which I won’t do, if I agreed to stay silent, if I stayed home, if I said that a corrupt election was wonderful. The persecution would stop immediately. They say good luck. Let’s go on to the next victim.

“But I can’t do that because I love our country far, far too much. Remember, they’re coming after me because I’m standing up for you and they’re coming after you. Believe me. They’re coming up for you. They’re coming after you.

Watch that here:

This is not the first time that Trump has expressed the sentiment that the establishment is coming after him because it really want to continue its grip on the American people and that it only hates him because he’s in the way.

He made much the same point in a 2019 tweet in which he shared a meme that included an image of him looking directly forward at the camera and the textIn reality they’re not after me. They’re after you.I’m just in the way”.
