Mark Cuban hates the national anthem so much that he decided to cancel the ceremony altogether before Dallas Mavericks home games.

Keep in mind, he made this decision in TEXAS…one of the most patriotic states in the union!

Thankfully, after immense backlash, Cuban will begrudgingly resume the National Anthem before games, according to the Washington Post.

The far-left Mavericks owner can’t stand the National Anthem, but now he’s going to have to hear it before every home game. God Bless America!

Here’s the story from the Washington Post:

“The Dallas Mavericks will again play the national anthem before home games, a day after team owner Mark Cuban confirmed to The Washington Post that they had not played the anthem this season at his direction.

“With NBA teams now in process of welcoming fans back into their arenas, all teams will play the national anthem in keeping with longstanding league policy,” NBA Chief Communications Officer Mike Bass said in the statement released Wednesday afternoon.

Mavericks are scheduled to host the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night and will play the anthem going forward.

“We respect and always have respected the passion people have for the anthem and our country,” Cuban said in a statement.”

No matter how much Cuban might despise our great anthem, the PEOPLE have spoken.
