Police issue ‘self defense’ statement after Florida woman terminates man breaking into bedroom, could be strong warning for future criminals

According to officials, a burglar who broke into a Clearwater woman’s bedroom was shot and killed. Around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Clearwater police say they received a 911 call reporting an intruder at a residence in the 1600 block of Flagler Drive.
