No matter how far to the left that Joe Biden goes, there are those who will never be satisfied and will continue to demand more extreme policies from his regime.
Biden has fulfilled his campaign promises to activists and progressives by opening the southern border and allowing the U.S. to be flooded with illegal immigrants. This is seen as a major win for the Chamber Of Commerce and other special interests, but it isn’t enough for the American Civil Liberties Union.

Once a non-partisan organization focused on the defense of the civil liberties of all Americans, the ACLU has evolved into just another hyper-politicized arm of the far left wing of the Democratic party. It is now primarily concerned with political power rather than the U.S. Constitution.
The ACLU joined illegal immigrant advocacy groups in decrying Biden’s eye-popping $6 trillion budget proposal for not being sufficiently devoted to dismantling ICE. The agency has already been severely neutered by the Biden regime’s open borders policies.

According to a statement issued by Naureen Shah the ACLU’s senior advocacy and policy counsel, “President Biden’s proposed DHS budget today includes positive measures to increase accountability and oversight, but fails to make a sharp enough break from the Trump administration’s wasteful and harmful spending on the detention and deportation machine.”
Shah added, “Allowing abusive programs that escalated under the Trump administration — particularly ICE’s 287g program with local law enforcement — to set the baseline for the budget betrays the promise of the Biden administration’s vision of a humane and rights-respecting immigration system.” She continued, “After promising to end ‘countering extremism’ programs, Biden has instead allocated more than $100 million for these programs that have not only failed in previous administrations, but also wrongly stigmatized, surveilled, and discriminated against Black and Brown communities — particularly Muslims.”
The ACLU has also been a vocal advocate for police “reform” which is code-speak for defunding and dismantling law enforcement. They are advocating for turning the nation’s streets over to lawless criminals. These thugs have already established a foothold in major Democrat-controlled cities since last summer’s race riots.
Also unhappy with Biden is the pro-amnesty American Immigration Council which expressed its displeasure with the nation’s 46th president, “deeply disappointing and a missed opportunity for meaningful change,” the organization said of the budget.

The Washington D.C.-based non-profit called for Congress to circumvent Biden and to defund ICE on its own, “Congress can and must consider reducing funding for detention and instead investing in appointed counsel and community-based support services for immigrants navigating our immigration system,” the organization tweeted.
On the other hand, some congressional Democrats are angry that Biden’s budget doesn’t allocate enough money to rooting out and politically persecuting Trump supporters who continue to be smeared as domestic extremists.

Senator Maggie Hassan dashed off a letter to Biden’s budget chief expressing her concern that the weaponizing of the government against the Democrats’ political opposition would be underfunded, “I am concerned that a flat DHS budget will not provide enough resources to address growing cybersecurity, border security and vetting, and violent extremism threats facing the United States,” said the New Hampshire Democrat.
Some people will never be happy.
