BIDEN’S AMERICA: 3rd Grader Forced To Remove ‘Jesus Loves Me’ Mask

On Thursday, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, grilled Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Biden regime’s chief medical adviser, and the country’s lead immunologist, over when the Americans could begin to live normal, 2019-era lives again.

That is, when will Americans a) take off these stupid masks; b) be able to gather freely and in any numbers we choose; and c) enjoy full use of our constitutional rights like, say, gathering to worship or to redress government.

“When is the time? When is the time?” Jordan pressed. “When do Americans get their freedom back?”

“When we get the level of infection in this country low enough,” came Fauci’s reply, and that was as close as Jordan got to a ‘specific’ answer during the five-minute exchange.

The Ohio Republican did go on to point out that for every hour Americans live under COVID restrictions, the Constitution takes irreparable damage.

“I … understand it’s pretty serious when businesses have been shut down, people can’t go to church, people can’t assemble in their own homes … people can’t go to a loved one’s funeral, people can’t get to their government to petition their representative to redress their grievances,” he said.

Fauci’s response? “I don’t look at this as a liberty thing, Congressman Jordan.”

Yeah. About that.

Speaking of rights, liberties, and COVID requirements like mask-wearing, a third-grade girl was told recently take hers off because it contained a dangerous, seditious word: “Jesus.” writer Caleb Parke noted:

Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is fighting for a third-grade girl’s right to wear a “Jesus Loves Me” face mask to public school.

Tyson Langhofer, ADF senior counsel, told the Todd Starnes Radio Show Thursday the school district engaged in “viewpoint discrimination” by singling out Lydia Booth in October while allowing other students to wear “Black Lives Matter” masks.

“We are proud of our daughter. She wanted to express her faith. We felt like we had to stand up for her when she was told she couldn’t express her faith like she was somehow a second-class citizen simply because she wanted to express a religious message and others a secular message,” the girl’s parents told the ADF.

The incident apparently took place Oct. 13 at the Simpson Central School, where the principal took her aside and informed her she couldn’t wear the mask any longer, even though she’d already worn it several times, though the budding young Marxist cultists were allowed to don BLM masks.

Jennifer Booth, the girl’s mother, was informed the mask was a violation of school policy because it had words written on it. But being literate and able to actually read the school’s policy, Booth noticed that part — the ‘no words on masks’ bit — wasn’t there.

At that, the school’s superintendent then informed Ms. Booth that the mask violated the school’s other attire policy because nothing kids wear can contain political, religious, or other ‘inappropriate’ symbols.

And yes, the school officials get to decide what is ‘inappropriate’ or, in the case of allowing BLM masks, what is not ‘political.’

“Apparently they believe religious messages in class or in schools are inappropriate, but they allowed other masks with all kinds of other messages on it,” Langhofer said. “If you allow others to express messages on their masks, you have to allow people to express religious messages.”
