On Thursday, U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu recommended charging former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe according to a report that was released.

McCabe’s legal team stated that they got an email from the Department of Justice that notified them that their appeal had been rejected.

The email read, “The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office.”

Check out what Breitbart reported:

McCabe allegedly appealed the decision all the way up to Jeffrey Rosen, the deputy attorney general, but Rosen rejected that request.

Fox News reported that Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against McCabe.

Should federal prosecutors move forward with charges, he would become the first senior law enforcement officer involved in the Russian investigation to be prosecuted.

McCabe served as the acting FBI director after President Donald Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey.

Reports from August have suggested that an investigation by the DOJ into whether McCabe made false statements during an internal inquiry into news media leaks is in its “final stages.”

Then-Attorney General Jeff Session fired McCabe in March 2018 after the inspector general found he had frequently misstated his involvement in a leak to the Wall Street Journal regarding an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

McCabe clearly had extreme bias when conducting his duties however he continues to deny any wrongdoing. Ironically, not only has McCabe accepted a job at left-wing CNN but he is also new raising money for the Democratic party.

Should Trump Launch An Investigation Into Robert Mueller?

The CNN analyst plans to be at the Democratic Party fundraiser in Pennsylvania as the keynote speaker in September according to a recent report.

The event is set to take place on September 21st and tickets will start at $80 a piece. People who donate $160 will get the thrilling chance to meet and take a photo with McCabe.

Check out what the Daily Caller reported:

McCabe, who was hired by CNN as a law enforcement analyst in August, said he plans to discuss the firing of former FBI Director James Comey, Russian meddling in the 2016 elections, the Mueller report and his interactions with President Donald Trump during his 45-minute speech.

“Lest anyone thinks this will be a gloomy take on things, Mr. McCabe says he is sure there are brighter days ahead and will talk about why he feels this way,” the Lancaster Democratic party wrote in a blog post. “Please join us for what is sure to be one of the most interesting evenings we have ever had!”

Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired McCabe in March 2018 on the recommendation of the Justice Department Inspector General and the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility for displaying a “lack of candor” about his authorization of media leaks in October 2016.
