If there was ever a bass-ackwards statement, this one takes the cake.

Anderson Cooper knows, deep down, that conservatives love their country and will do whatever it takes to protect her values. To think otherwise is a complete delusion.

Yet, the CNN anchor continues trying to cause a stir to get attention and bring ratings back to his fledgling network.

Nice try.

From The Daily Wire:

Anderson Cooper told CNN’s viewers that “other networks” — presumably Fox News Channel and Newsmax — are actively “promoting” a second Civil War in the United States and “relish the idea of the destruction of society.”

Cooper said, “There’s a lot of people, who throw around the term civil war, and some on podcasts seem to kind of relish the idea of the destruction of society. The very people who are, kind, of promoting that here, on podcasts, right now — and other networks — who probably have not done service, and have not seen it for themselves.”

The host — whom CNN has increasingly tried to promote as its central anchor since the departure of its top-rated anchor, Chris Cuomo, last year — did not specify which television networks or podcasts “relish” or are “promoting” the taking up of arms to overthrow the U.S. government. A scan of the transcripts of Fox News, Newsmax, and One America News Network turns up no incitements to violently seize power in the U.S. Capitol, while showing many condemnations of politically motivated violence.

WATCH:

Any Democrat who has ever accused (or accuses) Donald Trump of being racist should be forced to resign. If the mainstream media was honest with the American people, that would probably be the case.

Still, they aren’t. They never will be again.

Check out this interview Joe Biden had with Cooper back in 2019, via Daily Wire:

In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper that aired Monday after Trump gave a speech calling for unity and condemning white supremacy and all forms of racial hatred, Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden compared Trump’s rhetoric to that of the Ku Klux Klan and accused him of having “flat abandoned the theory that we are one people.”

In a televised speech from the White House Monday, President Trump addressed the horrific mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, which took the lives of at least 29 people and injured dozens more, by condemning all forms of “racist hate,” particularly white supremacy, which appears to have motivated the El Paso shooter.

Continued:

The president also called for greater unity and bipartisanship to address the growing problem of mass shootings. “We cannot allow ourselves to feel powerless. We can and will stop this evil contagion,” he said. “In that task, we must honor the sacred memory of those we have lost, by acting as one people. Open wounds cannot heal if we are divided. We must seek real bipartisan solutions – we have to do that, in a bipartisan manner – that will truly make America safer and better for all.”

Shame on all these liberal know-nothings.
