Less than 12 hours after Kamala Harris absolutely bombed in her VP debate against Mike Pence, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the next debate would be held virtually.

The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations,” CPD said in a statement.

“The town meeting participants and the moderator, Steve Scully, Senior Executive Producer & Political Editor, C-SPAN Networks, will be located at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County in Miami, Florida.”

In response, President Trump has threatened to skip the debate altogether.

The president’s comments came during an interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo:

I heard that the Commission a little while ago changed the debate style, and that’s not acceptable to us. I’m not going to do a virtual debate.

I am not going to waste my time on a virtual debate. That’s not what debating is all about, you sit behind a computer and do a debate, that’s ridiculous, they cut you off when ever they want
