CNN has recently been blasted for a business analysis article on their website. The author claimed that motorists should consider the recent drop in soaring gas prices as a pay raise.

The article suggested Americans should view a slight dip in gas prices as a “$100-a-month raise” or a “$100-a-month tax cut.”

On Friday, the nationwide average was $3.918, down from $4.495 a month ago, and the White House has been celebrating. However, according to the Energy Information Administration, The national average price of gasoline was $2.38 per gallon when President Joe Biden assumed office.

Since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the price has increased to $3.53 per gallon. Yet, the White House calls for a celebration after sharing news that Americans are still substantially worse off.

Chris Isidore, a senior writer for the far left-leaning network CNN Business, wrote an article published on Friday. The headline was “America just got a $100-a-month raise.”

CNN Business senior writer Chris Isidore lauded the decline in gas prices without mentioning that costs remain highly elevated from the level seen less than two years ago.

In this ridiculous article, Isidore wrote, “Next time you stop at a gas station, think of it as a $100-a-month tax cut. Or a maybe $100-a-month raise.” She wrote: “The steady drop in gas prices over the last few months has turned into an unexpected form of economic stimulus, coming at a time when the Federal Reserve is trying to cool the economy and battle rising prices with higher interest rates.

Though the network has always been known to be left-leaning, this was a long stretch as critics immediately pointed their partisan journalism out and blasted the network.

Mark Lotter, a former communications director for the Trump campaign who now works at the America First Policy Institute, said: “Gas still costs, on average, $1.50 more per gallon than it did on January 20, 2021′ – the day Biden took over. This spin should be reported as an in-kind contribution to the Democrat Party.

Ram Prasad, a behavioral science practitioner, also tweeted that all that is left at this point is for the network to move one alphabet from their name and call themselves DNN: Democrat News Network.

Robby Starbuck, a Tennessee former candidate for election to the House in November, said the CNN article was nothing but shameless propaganda. He wrote, “Gas is still insanely expensive Vs. when Trump was President. It’s not a tax cut or a raise for Biden to fail slightly less badly. His huge failures are still hurting America.

And Mike Carey, a Republican congressman for Ohio, said CNN was following the White House in trying to spin the harsh reality. He wrote, “So it’s not just the White House changing definitions & twisting the narratives? Americans are still paying far higher gas prices than they should. Unleash American production, fast track energy infrastructure & stop penalizing the industry with overregulation & higher taxes!

In addition, Sen. Ted Cruz also responded to CNN’s post. He said, “Next, CNN is going to try to convince you that 2+2=5. In the meantime — since truth still matters — gas prices are UP nearly 65% since Biden took office.

Regardless, one thing is very sure, the Biden administration and his lapdogs will stop at nothing to ruin America and make a fool out of every citizen, and even the democrat citizens are beginning to see this.
