“He’s Still Sleeping”: Elon Musk Mocks President Biden for Utter Incompetence

Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk took a shot at President Joe Biden on Sunday for failing to congratulate SpaceX’s Inspiration 4, the first all-civilian space mission to ever take place which splashed down on Saturday evening.

“The President of the United States has refused to even acknowledge the 4 newest American astronauts who helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for St. Jude. What’s your theory on why that is?” asked one Twitter user.

“He’s still sleeping,” Musk trolled

The Inspiration4 mission is a huge step for American and the world considering it was the first all-civilian space mission and was accomplished by a private American company.

The Inspiration4 crew wrapped up the first all-civilian privately-funded trip to orbit and plunged back to Earth on Saturday, dropping out of a hazy sky for a ghostly early evening splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean near Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Suspended under four large parachutes, the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule settled to a gentle, on-target water landing around 7:07 p.m. ET to wrap up a historic three-day mission, the first non-superpower orbital spaceflight.

“Inspiration4, on behalf of SpaceX, welcome home to planet Earth,” a SpaceX flight controller radioed. “Your mission has shown the world that space is for all of us and that everyday people can make extraordinary impacts on the world around them. Thank you for sharing your leadership, hope, generosity and prosperity, and congratulations on your incredible journey.”

Replied commander Jared Isaacman, the billionaire who chartered the flight in part to raise $200 million for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: “That was a heck of a ride for us. We’re just getting started.”

Todd “Leif” Ericson, another Inspiration4 mission director, said the splashdown capped “a great day for America.”

“I really believe this mission will be looked at as the first mission at the opening of really the second space age, where space travel becomes much more accessible to average men and women across the world,” he said.

“It’s about opening up space, but it’s also about looking back and making sure that we make a difference back here on Earth. … We’re at $160 million raised for St. Jude’s to cure childhood cancer. We’d encourage everybody to continue that trend and meet our goal of $200 million.”

Elon Musk’s prediction that Biden was too busy sleeping may not be much of a joke considering the president is missing in action as America crumbles.

The Taliban owns Afghanistan where Americans are trapped, the U.S. debt is nearing catastrophic levels, COVID is on the rise even with large amounts of vaccinated Americans, the border is overrun by illegals and President Joe Biden thinks it is a perfect time to relax.

According to the White House schedule, President Biden spent the long weekend at his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. One can assume he likely spent the entire weekend sleeping.
