On Tuesday during an interview on PBS News Hour, failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton bizarrely claimed that she won the 2016 election against President Donald Trump. This statement is clearly false considering President Trump is in the White House and she is not.

The comment from Clinton came after Judy Woodruff mention President Trump’s most recent tweet about her.

“I think that crooked Hillary Clinton should try to enter the race to try and steal it away from uber-left Elizabeth Warren,” President Trump tweeted Tuesday. “Only one condition: The crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors, including how and why she deleted 33,000 e-mails.”

“You know, it truly is remarkable how obsessed he remains with me,” Clinton responded. “But this latest tweet is so typical of him. Nothing has been more examined and looked at than my e-mails. We all know that.”

“So maybe there does need to be a rematch. Obviously, I can beat him again,” Clinton claimed. “But, just seriously, I don’t understand, I don’t think anybody understands what motivates him.”

Clinton’s refusal of accepting the 2016 election results greatly goes against what she said during the 2016 election cycle: “Well, I support our democracy. And sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but I certainly will support the outcome of this election. And I know Donald is trying very hard to plant doubts about it, but I hope the people out there understand this election’s really up to you. It’s not about us so much as it is about you and your families and the kinds of country and future you want. So I sure hope you will get out and vote as though your future depended on it because I think it does.”

The failed 2016 presidential candidate has been making her rounds in the media in recent weeks for her new book and is still making excuses for her huge loss in 2016.

“I believe there were many funny things that happened in my election that will not happen again and I’m hoping that both the public and the press understand the way that Trump plays this game,” she said.

President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. has also jumped in on the speculation that Hillary Clinton may run again. Rasmussen recently conducted a poll which showed President Donald Trump and Clinton were “neck and neck” in a potential 2020 matchup if Clinton were to run.

President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. decided to weigh in on the poll saying, “All I want for Christmas is for Hillary to run again.”
