On April 20th the Washington Post reported a story about a Venezuelan mother residing in California who was calling government officials several times a day to arrange the release of her child. The child had crossed the border illegally with his grandmother a few days prior. The 37-year-old woman who goes by the name Andrea is here on Asylum, but to avoid jeopardizing her case she did not reveal her last name to the newspaper.
The director of policy studies for the Center of Immigration Studies said that these migrants are behaving like entitled costumers who are “complaining at the Nordstrom store.” The director Jessica Vaughn goes on to say, “It shows just how clearly these migrants understand what is going on, what their role is, and how they can make sure that they get away with this.”

Why are tens of thousands of migrants are paying coyotes to bring their children across the border? Some say it’s because the Biden administration made it clear that it would be easier for children to stay if they crossed alone. Now the parents of these children now feel entitled to have their children delivered by the US government. All because Biden’s homeland security chief Alejandro Mayorkas has now been forcing border agents to relay the children to the parents for free.
When Trump was in office he had tried to break up the transactional relationship between cartels, coyotes, and parents. He did this by using federal agencies to fly the children back to their homelands, to either parents or extended family.
On a March 26th press conference senator Lindsay Graham said, “we’re complicit as a nation in human trafficking.” He went on to say that “under Biden, we’re transporting people – who pay [coyotes] to get here – the last mile with your taxpayer dollar.”
According to the article by the Post, a second migrant named “Lorena” was indignant about the slower-than-expected federal handover of her children. Apparently, the federal government and its bureaucracy is too slow for Lorena’s taste:
“’I just want them to give me my daughters,’ said Lorena, who wanted her last name withheld because she came to the United States illegally. Lorena left her daughters with her mother in their rural village outside the city of Huehuetenango more than a decade ago, soon after splitting up with their father.”

The United States has become so permissive about human immigration that illegal migrants feel absolutely no shame about being demanding of the Federal Government. Potential illegal migrants currently see the US as weak when it comes to its own sovereignty, and why shouldn’t they?
Illegal migrants have a multitude of advocates for them within the United States. In addition, the US government practically apologizes to illegals if they feel they are not given the most comfortable treatment. Not to mention, they even changed the word “alien” in the Federal terminology to accommodate their sensibilities.
Despite the advocates for this foreign invasion, and the encouragement by most of the media, polls continue to show that most Americans oppose mass immigration, and labor migration. But Democratic politicians know that they lost the American working class long ago. Their power now lies in bringing in entirely different demographics to dilute the vote of the American citizen.
The American people continue to be betrayed by their own governments, whether federal, state, or local, who long ago stopped working for the interests of the United States and its citizens.
