To the surprise of absolutely nobody, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she’s not worried about the affect that an impeachment trial would have on “unity” in our country.
“You mentioned unity and a message of unity yesterday,” the reporter began to ask.
“Are you at all concerned about moving forward with an impeachment trial that could undercut that message and alienate all the conservative supporters of the President?,” he added.
“No,” Pelosi responded bluntly.
“No I’m not worried about that,” she added.
“The President of the United States committed an act of incitement of insurrection. I don’t think it’s very unifying to say, ‘Oh, let’s just forget it and move on‘”, she concluded.

Does it surprise us that Pelosi would rather waste her time on another long-shot impeachment conviction rather than do some actual legislating? Absolutely not.
This comes just one day after Pelosi pushed the idea of Trump being an “accessory to murder” in the January 6th Capitol protests.

“Presidents’ words are important. They weigh a ton,” Pelosi said about Trump, who continuously stoked false claims of widespread election fraud on Twitter and encouraged supporters to march to the Capitol in a fiery speech given at a “Save America” rally not long before rioters stormed the building. “And they used his words to come here.”
The speaker went a step further and said that if it were proven that some members of Congress collaborated with members of the group that attacked the Capitol, they — as well as Trump — would be accessories to crimes committed during the insurrection.
“And the crime, in some cases, was murder,” Pelosi said. “And this president is an accessory to that crime because he instigated that insurrection that caused those deaths and this destruction.”
If it isn’t already blatantly clear to you, understand this:
Pelosi wants blood.
It wasn’t enough that Trump is no longer in office. She wants to twist the knife to fulfill her disgusting quest for vengeance.
