The attorney for accused Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse has had enough of his client being a political football for the radical, hate-America left.

Lin Wood, who is also serving as the attorney for Covington Catholic teen Nick Sandmann and has already secured two settlements with CNN and the Washington Post after suing them for liable, is demanding that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden retract a reference to Rittenhouse as a white supremacist.

You may recall: Rittenhouse is the teen charged with murdering two rioters during unrest in the eastern Wisconsin city after a police officer shot a black man suspected of reaching into his vehicle for a knife last month. The shooting sparked riots and looting in the city of about 100,000.

Supporters of Rittenhouse – who traveled to the city from his nearby hometown in Illinois and was acting as armed security to protect businesses – say he fired in self-defense, and frankly, based on several videos posted online and released since, there is a good case to be made on that defense, in our opinion.

Left-wing critics, however, have adopted the narrative, without evidence, that Rittenhouse is a white supremacist and member of a militia.

Just the News reports:

The immediate controversy arose after Tuesday night’s presidential debate. An image of Rittenhouse was featured in a Biden campaign political ad about white supremacy. The video was tweeted out on Biden’s Twitter account with text reading: “There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night.”

Wood, who is defending Rittenhouse, tweeted out a response that read:

“Formal demand for public retraction is being prepared for Biden/Harris Campaign on behalf of Kyle Rittenhouse. I also hereby demand that @JoeBiden immediately retract his false accusation that Kyle is a white supremacist & militia member responsible for violence in Kenosha.”

Wood also made a name for himself representing Richard Jewell, a security guard the FBI falsely accused of being complicit in a bombing during the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996. But in truth, Jewell had actually moved people away from a suspicious backpack before it blew up.

Wood made his demand after the campaign of Biden tweeted out a video in which it is strongly suggested that Rittenhouse is a white supremacist.

The Daily Mail added:

The 50-second video showed a mashup of scenes from white supremacist rallies and far-right groups across the country as debate moderator Chris Wallace is heard asking Trump if he is willing to condemn the racist organizations.

The clip also includes a shot of Rittenhouse holding a rifle during the Kenosha protests, where he is accused of fatally shooting two demonstrators.

“There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night,” Biden wrote.

Noted Wood in a tweet, “On behalf of Kyle Rittenhouse, I shall sue Joe Biden & Biden/Harris Campaign for libel. I am partisan in 20/20 supporting [Donald Trump.] I am non-partisan trial lawyer who aggressively pursues truth to achieve justice. Put in your hearing aid, Joe. You will hear footsteps.”

Let the legal fireworks begin. Enough of these left-wing elitist clowns getting away with saying things that are patently untrue about people.
