Mega celebrity and social media influencer Kylie Jenner, along with her hubby Travis Scott recently shared a photo posing in front of two of their private jets. Yes, they are so stinking rich they have not one, but TWO private jets. All for being influential on social media, whatever that means.

Anyway, the caption for the photo said, “You wanna take mine, or you wanna take yours?”

And that’s all it took to cause radical progressive environmentalists to go into a full on, foaming-at-the-mouth, fill-up-the-bowls of wrath meltdown.

According to TheBlaze, the radical environmentalists did what all leftists do whenever they get the alert on their phones that someone, somewhere has said or done something that is guaranteed to offend them, which is jump on Twitter where the couple was blasted as “climate criminals” for taking three-minute flights.

The photo caused others on Twitter to ponder why they are being forced to use paper straws while Kylie Jenner gets to take three-minute flights. It’s a good point to bring up. Hardly seems fair, does it?

However, the folks over at Barstool Sports had a totally different take on the whole thing, going on to suggest that a lot of other folks would do the same thing if they had that Scrooge McDuck money. You know, from DuckTales? He’d go swimming around in a ginormous pool of gold coins? Hopefully you got the reference.

This is a pretty interesting conversation to have really.

Kylie Jenner is a lot of things. Spoiled, entitled, snotty, arrogant, and obnoxious are a few that popped into my mind. But a climate criminal?

Nah.

Rather than being concerned with whatever dumb shenanigans Kylie Jenner is up to, perhaps the left ought to be a little more concerned with practicing what they preach.

How many news stories have we seen concerning a liberal celebrity flying all around the globe in a private jet, while also simultaneously talking down to the rest of the world about how they need to start managing their carbon footprint?

I know Leonardo DiCaprio, great actor that he is, is guilty of this. More than once, in fact.

It’s really difficult to take someone seriously about something they are lecturing others about when that individual is actually doing the very same thing they keep telling other people not to do.

Be consistent. If you really think cars and airplanes are bad for the environment, stop using them. Period. Show the world you’re serious about the cause. This whole “I’m using the system to beat the system” line of thought is bunk. It’s nonsense.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that the crux of the outrage about all of this has anything to do with the environment. It likely has far more to do with envy. And Jenner knows this, which is why she can be snotty about it.

Hate and jealousy are very prevalent in a culture like ours that has become corrupted and self-entitled. Everyone thinks they deserve to have the best and to be rich, regardless of whether or not they’ve done the work to earn it.

Share.
