Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is done messing around with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

During an interview on Fox News, McConnell told anchor Martha MacCallum that Pelosi needed to knock off her political talking points and actually work with Republicans to pass a new coronavirus aid bill.
Pelosi continues to play games and is trying again to slip in more left-wing policies into the relief bill, and McConnell is not having it.
“I wish Nancy would turn off all those political talking points,” McConnell of Pelosi after she characterized provisions aimed at helping corporations whose budgets have been stunted by the sudden economic shutdown as a corporate handout.
“An awful lot of Americans work for big companies, so we didn’t want to exclude the employees simply because of the size of their employer,” McConnell said. “She knows better than that.”
He added that he hopes Pelosi’s political rhetoric “comforts” House Democrats enough that they take up the Senate bill in good faith and pass it quickly.
The Senate passed the bill late Wednesday after rejecting an amendment by Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., meant to correct what he called a “drafting error” on the amount of unemployment payouts to be received by laid-off workers.
McConnell praised his Senate colleagues for quickly engineering the $2 trillion coronavirus aid compromise.
“It came together in less than a week which is a very challenging thing to do in Congress,” he said.
Pelosi and Democrats have been trying to weaponize the coronavirus.
The California Democrat went off on President Donald Trump during a call Monday, calling his handling of the coronavirus pandemic “almost sinful.”
“The more misrepresentations he puts out there, the more it obscures the truth,” she also reportedly said on the call.
“We have to insist upon the truth — what they’re saying is not knowledge, is not facts, is not real,” she added.
Earlier on Monday, both Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer issued a joint statement where they claimed that Republicans are responsible for stalling coronavirus relief measures.

During an interview on CNN, Pelosi told anchor Anderson Cooper that she is pushing for federally forced vote by mail in the 2020 election in the next round of coronavirus aid.
This, of course, is not something President Donald Trump and Republicans support, so she’s again pushing for a far-left scheme that will never pass in the GOP-controlled Senate.
Pelosi said the country needs to move toward a “vote by mail” system to give citizens a way to cast their ballots while the coronavirus makes it dangerous to congregate.
Government Accountability Institute research director Eric Eggers told Breitbart the Democrats’ plan for nationwide mail-in voting would send ballots to 24 million inaccurate and flawed registrations.
Eggers said mail-in voting ensures voters associated with those flawed voter registrations would get the chance to vote in the 2020 presidential election.
Last month, Congress passed a massive $2 trillion stimulus package, which will bring relief to individuals, small businesses, and larger corporations.
Pelosi tried — and failed — to slip in a slew of left-wing proposals, such as ballot harvesting and amnesty for illegal aliens.
