Over 500 scientists as well as professionals in the climate field recently sent a “European Climate Declaration” to the United Nations, requesting for a debate on climate change.

The request from the scientists got bogged down by the far-left 16-year old climate change activist Greta Thunberg who set the internet on fire when she gave a very hysterical speech on climate change at the United Nations. The teenager frequently mentioned how scientific evidence supporters her claims however the 500 scientists who wrote the “European Climate Declaration” say otherwise.

“Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific,” the declaration says. “Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real benefits as well as the imagined costs of adaptation to global warming, and the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of mitigation.”

The Left wants to spend trillions of dollars on climate change however the scientists warn against jumping to such a conclusion.

“There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes, floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent,” they announced. “However, CO2-mitigation measures are as damaging as they are costly. For instance, wind turbines kill birds and bats, and palm-oil plantations destroy the biodiversity of the rainforests.”

They then claimed that there was no climate emergency and that everyone needs to calm down.

“There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and alarm,” they say. “We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy proposed for 2050.”

“If better approaches emerge, and they certainly will, we have ample time to reflect and adapt. The aim of international policy should be to provide reliable and affordable energy at all times, and throughout the world,” they added.

The scientists went on to criticize the approaches that politicians are taking in regards to climate change proposals.

“Therefore, it is cruel as well as imprudent to advocate the squandering of trillions on the basis of results from such immature models,” they say. “Current climate policies pointlessly, grievously undermine the economic system, putting lives at risk in countries denied access to affordable, continuous electrical power.”

“We urge you to follow a climate policy based on sound science, realistic economics and genuine concern for those harmed by costly but unnecessary attempts at mitigation,” they finished.

Instead of listening to professionals and scientists in the climate change field, Democrats are turning to the words of a 16-year old autistic girl with no scientific background.

While speaking at the Climate Action Summit in New York on Monday, Greta Thunberg scolded politicians saying, “We’ll be watching you. This is all wrong. I shouldn’t be up here. I should be back in school, on the other side of the ocean.”

Yes, Greta, you should be on the other side of the ocean instead of spewing your left-wing propaganda here in America.

She continued to target politicians by saying, “you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words, and yet I’m one of the lucky ones. People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing.”

The United States has the strongest environmental laws in the entire world so Thunberg should take her message to high polluting countries like China instead. The little girl then claimed that the world is entering early stages of a mass extinction.

“How dare you?” she asked again while crying.

She continued on her whiney, unhinged rant: “You say you hear us and that you understand the urgency. But no matter how sad and angry I am, I do not want to believe that. Because if you really understood the situation and still kept on failing to act, then you would be evil. And that I refuse to believe.”
