Following the lead of closeted Democrats Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, a New York “Republican” announced an early retirement from politics after being demolished by conservative voters over his stance on banning so-called assault weapons.
Chris Jacobs, representing only himself and The Current Thing, as opposed to his actual constituents in New York’s 27th District, had voiced support for signing a bill that would ban AR-15s at a federal level. Democrats have been phishing for such legislation for years, but with renewed fervor following publicized shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde. Soon after, he gave a press conference in which he publicly stated he would not seek reelection.

Prompting Jacobs’ impromptu retirement was a previously declared stance that offered the full support for the Democrats’ entire totalitarian agenda to disarm the American population. Fox News covered this antecedent:
“Jacobs, who represents New York’s 27th congressional district, announced he would no longer be seeking re-election after he threw his support behind efforts in Congress to ban assault weapons on the federal level.
“The last thing we need is an incredibly negative, half-truth-filled media attack funded by millions of dollars of special interest money coming into our community around this issue of guns and gun violence and gun control,” he said in an impromptu press conference.
“I want to be completely transparent of where I am in Congress. If an assault weapons ban bill came to the floor that would ban something like an AR-15, I would vote for it,” Jacobs said Friday, Spectrum News 1 reported.”
Fox went on to note that this frightening, anti-conservative position put him directly at odds with voters who thought they were getting a Republican (well, in some ways they were since this spineless, sell-out coward represents most of the contemporary GOP). Shortly after metaphorically standing shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and every other fanatic in Washington, Jacobs then offered his withdrawal from November’s race.
As if the invertebrate Chris Jacobs could be more of a jellyfish, this professional coward was endorsed by the NRA in his last House campaign in 2020 and had received a score of 92% from the group Gun Owners of America. How quickly he changed his tune now that he felt the increasing pressure from corporate media, social media, and his relentless colleagues at the Capitol.
Doesn’t Jacobs realize the totalitarian left isn’t interested in citizen safety? Banning so-called assault weapons is not to protect their subjects nor is it their endgame. First, it will be some guns, then it will be all the guns. The left is never satisfied.
And, if citizen safety were truly a concern, they would address inner-city gang violence as it relates to possession of illegal weapons. Moreover, if they were really concerned about our general welfare then they would recommend and adopt measures for people to eat healthier and would certainly never have advocated for any policy position related to Covid in the past two years, particularly with injecting an experimental genetic, and wholly irreversible, concoction into our bodies.
