The Biden Administration appears to be giving up on the thousands of Americans who are being held hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan. The group of people who have claimed to care so much about you amid the COVID-19 pandemic, couldn’t care less about the thousands of people whose lives are at risk in Afghanistan.

The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan is now telling the thousands of trapped Americans “to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time” despite the August 31 deadline for U.S. troops to leave the country.

The Embassy noted:

Because of security threats outside the gates of Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so.

U.S. citizens who are at the Abbey Gate, East Gate, or North Gate now should leave immediately.

Actions to take:

Be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially in large crowds.

Follow the instructions of local authorities including movement restrictions related to curfews.

Have a contingency plan for emergencies and review the Traveler’s Checklist.

Monitor local media for breaking events and adjust your plans based on new information.

Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program(STEP) to receive Alerts and make it easier to locate you in an emergency.

Follow the Department of State on Facebook and Twitter.

Despite conflicting reports, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken claimed on Wednesday that there are 1500 Americans left in Afghanistan seeking to return to the States:

Many of you have asked how many U.S. citizens remain in Afghanistan who want to leave the country. Based on our analysis, starting on August 14 when our evacuation operations began, there was then a population of as many as 6,000 American citizens in Afghanistan who wanted to leave.

Over the last 10 days, roughly 4,500 of these Americans have been safely evacuated along with immediate family members. Over the past 24 hours, we’ve been in direct contact with approximately 500 additional Americans and provided specific instructions on how to get to the airport safely. We will update you regularly on our progress in getting these 500 American citizens out of Afghanistan.

The Biden Administration clearly couldn’t care less about the stranded Americans in Afghanistan considering Biden submitted to the Taliban’s August 31 withdraw deadline despite having the knowledge of the unlikeliness of removing all U.S. citizens in time.

Even Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff is publicly acknowledging that it’s “very unlikely” the United States will be able to evacuate all Americans by the August 31st deadline.

“I think it’s very unlikely given the number of Americans who still need to be evacuated, the number of SIVs, the number of others who are members of the Afghan press, civil society leaders, women leaders, it’s hard for me to imagine all of that can be accomplished between now and the end of the month,” Schiff said. “I am encouraged to see the numbers of people evacuated, increasing readily to the point where we evacuated 11,000 people in a single day. Nonetheless, given the logistical difficulties of moving people to the airport, and the limited number of work arounds, it’s hard for me to see that being fully complete by the end of the month. And I’m certainly of the view that we maintain a military presence as long as it’s necessary to get all U.S. persons out, and to meet our moral and ethical obligation to our Afghan partners.”

On terror in the Afghan region, Schiff said, “I think the intelligence community has always been very sober about our capacity to detect and deter a terrorism threat from within Afghanistan once we have no military force there, once our military footprint has been reduced to effectively zero.”
