The Olympics is quickly transforming into a radical-left event, ruined and poisoned by the extreme progressive agenda.
First, it was announced that transgender athletes would be allowed to compete in the Olympics and now this: Transgender BMX rider Chelsea Wolfe once said they wanted to win the Olympics so they could burn the American flag on the podium.
The insane comments were made on Facebook in March of 2020 and recently discovered by Fox News.
“My goal is to win the Olympics so I can burn a US flag on the podium,” Wolf said on Facebook while reacting to former President Trump’s position on trans women competing against biological females in sports. “This is what they focus on during a pandemic. Hurting trans children,”
Wolfe, who has since deleted the post, is claiming that this is not proof of their hatred for America. Wolfe is clearly confused in more ways than one.
“Anyone who thinks that I don’t care about the United States is sorely mistaken,” Wolfe told Fox News. “One of the reasons why I work so hard to represent the United States in international competition is to show the world that this country has morals and values, that it’s not all of the bad things that we’re known for. I take a stand against fascism because I care about this country, and I’m not going to let it fall into the hands of fascists after so many people have fought and sacrificed to prevent fascism from taking hold abroad. As a citizen who wants to be proud of my home country, I’m sure as hell not going to let it take hold here.”
This is not the only recent transgender drama involved with the upcoming Olympic Games. Male-to-female transgender weightlifter Laurel Hubbard is set to compete in the Games.
Check out what The Daily Wire reported:
Laurel Hubbard, a male-to-female transgender weightlifter, is set to make history as the first openly transgender person to participate in the Olympics. Hubbard, 43, was selected to join New Zealand’s weightlifting team at the Olympics in Tokyo this summer. Hubbard is the oldest weightlifter to be competing in the games. …
Hubbard’s selection comes after much dispute and criticism over allowing biologically male athletes to compete in women’s sports. Hubbard transitioned in 2013, and became eligible to compete in the Olympics in 2015 after the International Olympic Committee changed its rules to allow for transgender people to compete against other athletes of the gender of which they identify.
Female athletes and others have sounded the alarm over allowing biologically male athletes into female competitions, asserting that biological males have significant advantages over female athletes that do not go away with transgender surgery and chemical treatment.
