Wow, what a difference a day of election shellacking’s can do to a political parity.

The new “Woke” wing of the Democratic party has dominated Twitter and other progressive outlets for the past year.

In conjunction with union run public schools and the entertainment industry, progressives have, in their own minds, reset the U.S. citizens’ thinking towards social and other issues nationally. Last night though, they found out things are not as they appear, at least in many cities across the fruited plains.

Following Democratic losses around the nation on Tuesday, liberals on Wednesday are still pondering on what went wrong for them, some even questioning if President Biden moved to the “Woke” wing of the party too much.

On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”, host Joe Scarborough on Wednesday said the Democratic Party was going to have to come to terms with its “wokeism” problem.

Scarborough discussed the issue, in the context of Republican Glenn Youngkin’s win in Virginia over Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, with his wife and cohost Mika Brzezinski, and Michael Steele, the former Republican National Committee Chairman.

“You have a lot of people saying, ‘Oh, he won based on something that’s not real, that doesn’t exist,’ CRT or wokeism, whatever you want to call it,” Scarborough outlined. “I can tell you, I mean … I’ve said this on the show before. People said, ‘Oh, it’s because they’re racist.’ No, they’re lifelong Democrats, and they’re talking about what’s going on on college campuses. They are talking about what’s going on in high schools. They are doing it.”

He continued, “People can get mad if they want to. Don’t shoot me, as Elton John said. I’m only the piano player, but this is what we’re hearing. All the time, wherever we go, when nobody is watching, when the cameras are off, when people aren’t worried about people calling them bigots, it’s just happening, and that played out last night in Virginia.”

Steele agreed, laying out how the McAuliffe campaign allowed the GOP’s attack on CTR to go unchecked. Steel said if the Democrats want to insist that CRT was “not real” then they needed to craft a reasonable counter-narrative.

Scarborough jumped back in “If you’re making something up that’s not true, I’m going to just — I’m going to chase you all over the state, mock and ridicule you, and people will be laughing at you,”

Scarborough continued, “The fact that he kept bringing this up, and Terry didn’t have an answer, other than to say parents shouldn’t be involved in their kids’ classrooms, oh, my God. This is real. If it’s not real, that’s just pure malpractice by Democrats from coast to coast.”

Scarborough is right that the Democrats are going to have to deal with “wokeism” if they plan on winning, epically in light blue to Red states.

States like Virginia, who besides the counties boarding Washington DC, fill out the election map in solid red, are not open to radical social justice reforms.

When you add Joe Biden’s terrible decisions across the board into the discussion, the left should not expect many Americans to vote for anything WOKE, for the foreseeable future.
