Conservatives have often lamented the fact that the Left-wing “mainstream media” is all-in with their mentors and ideological soulmates in the Democratic Party.

We know that the media not only defends Democrats even when they are indefensible, but also that the princes and princesses of propaganda serve as high protectors of the Donkey Marxists.

Through acts of omission, the media will simply ignore issues that don’t put Democrats in a good light or stories that make them look bad. Like when, say, most of the media ignore the very credible allegations of sexual assault against the Democrat Party’s presumptive 2020 presidential nominee, Joe Biden.

But the same media also serves their party masters through acts of commission — like when, say, The New York Times serves up a fake news story so that Biden’s campaign can use it for talking points to push back against those same credible allegations of sexual assault.

As Buzzfeed News reported Tuesday:

While Joe Biden has remained publicly silent about a sexual assault allegation made against him, his presidential campaign has sought to coordinate and unify Democratic messaging on the matter, advising surrogates earlier this month to say that the allegation “did not happen.”

The Biden campaign circulated talking points among top Democratic supporters shortly after the New York Times published a story earlier this month about the allegation by Tara Reade, a former staff assistant in Biden’s Senate office who says he assaulted her in 1993.

And what were those talking points based on? The supposed ‘fact-check’ Times piece.

“Biden believes that all women have the right to be heard and to have their claims thoroughly reviewed,” the talking points read, according to a copy sent to two Democratic operatives, Buzzfeed News noted. “In this case, a thorough review by the New York Times has led to the truth: this incident did not happen.

“Here’s the bottom line,” they read. “Vice President Joe Biden has spent over 40 years in public life: 36 years in the Senate; 7 Senate campaigns, 2 previous presidential runs, two vice presidential campaigns, and 8 years in the White House. There has never been a complaint, allegation, hint or rumor of any impropriety or inappropriate conduct like this regarding him — ever.”

Well, that settles it, then. The New York Times, that paragon of truth and virtue in the Age of President Trump, has ‘investigated’ and has made a determination that a very credible allegation of assault that has now been corroborated by no fewer than five people “did not happen.”

Let’s pack up the scandal tent and go home, then. Nothing to see here. The NY Times has spoken; the paper declared it had “found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden.”

Well, in addition to these latest, very credible allegations (where’s the #MeToo crowd?), has no one at The New York Times seen a single meme of Joe Biden sniffing the hair of women, leaning in close to kiss and fondle young girls, or otherwise touch and act inappropriately?

Granted, they’re memes but they were made with real pictures. And we know that pictures often ‘speak 1,000 words,’ right?

Biden hasn’t been convicted of anything, of course, and we do live in a country where allegations are one thing and trials and convictions are another. The latter cannot come before the former.

But isn’t it interesting that a major media outlet went out of its way to clear a Democratic Party presidential contender when the same outlet serves as the leading attack dog whenever similar accusations are leveled against Republicans?

No, not ‘interesting,’ really. More like pathetic.
