With former President Donald J. Trump preparing for his return to the national spotlight, even the RINO haters are starting to admit the inevitable, that he would win the 2024 GOP nomination if he chooses to run.
In a stunning moment of candor, failed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney acknowledged that the party establishment’s attempts to rid itself of Trump and his America First agenda have already failed spectacularly.
Mitt’s admission came during a Tuesday interview with the New York Times, a paper that smeared and ridiculed him back in 2012 when he ran against Barack Obama.
With speculation that Trump’s CPAC speech in Florida will address his intentions to launch another White House run, the RINOs can either choose to fall in line and unify against a Biden regime that is the most radical in American history or become roadkill.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said in an interview on Tuesday that he is “pretty sure” former President Trump would win the Republican Party’s presidential primary in 2024 if he decides to run.
Romney made the remarks in a discussion with The New York Times’s Andrew Ross Sorkin at the DealBook DC Policy Project, in which he said he is “sure” the former president will continue to “play a role” in the Republican Party despite his defeat in the presidential election last year.
“He has by far the largest voice and a big impact in my party,” Romney said, referring to Trump. “I don’t know about his family members, whether they intend to do that, but I expect he will continue playing a role.”
Romney said if Trump does decide to run in 2024 he is certain the former president will win his party’s nomination.
“I’m pretty sure he will win the nomination,” Romney said. While he noted “a lot can happen between now and 2024,” the Utah Republican pointed to polls he said that show Trump as a potentially strong contender for president in the next election cycle.

Romney added:
“I look at the polls and the polls show that, among the names being floated as potential contenders in 2024, if you put President Trump in there among Republicans he wins in a landslide,”
It was probably a tough helping of crow to choke down for Romney, who was the ringleader of the seven RINOs who joined ranks with Democrats by voting to convict Trump during the latest sham impeachment.
Thankfully, nothing that Trump’s enemies have thrown at him has stuck and he could reemerge from Mar-a-Lago stronger than ever.
A recent poll has shown tepid enthusiasm for any Republican other than the former POTUS.
Asked by the New York Times on whether he would support Trump, Romney answered:
“I would not be voting for President Trump again. I haven’t voted for him in the past. I would be getting behind somebody in the tiny wing of the Republican Party that I represent.”
Mitt’s remarks about the ‘tiny wing of the Republican party’ that he represents can be interpreted as his waving a white flag of surrender.
