The socialist's' comments come after President Trump successfully killed one of the world's top terrorists in a drone strike.

“If Suleimani was a non-state actor, not a general, an official, a high-ranking official in the Iranian government, would it be different in your mind?” CNN host Anderson Cooper asked.

“I’m not a lawyer on these things, it might be, but this guy is you know, was, as bad as he was, an official of the Iranian a government and you unleash then if China does that you know if Russia does that, you know Russia has been implicated under Putin with assassinating dissidents,” Sanders replied. “So once you’re in the business of assassination you unleash some very very terrible forces.”

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has some choice words for radical Democrats like Sanders. During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Haley shredded Democrats for their mourning of the top Iranian terrorist General Qasem Soleimani.

“You’re not hearing China. You’re not hearing Russia. The only ones that are mourning the loss of Soleimani are our Democrat leadership, and our Democrat presidential candidates,” Haley slammed.

She also praised the Trump administration for catching Iran "flat footed."

“What the president did left the Iranian regime completely flat-footed,” Haley said. “They did not see this coming.  They thought they could continue to do their multiple strikes. ”

Haley then encouraged the American people to stay united.

“And I will tell you right now, partisan politics should stop when it comes to foreign policy,” she said. “This is about America united.”

Haley wasn't the only one to speak out after the attack. During an interview on Fox News on Saturday, Republican Representative Steve Scalise unleashed on anti-American Democrats after they have shown more support for the terrorist regime of Iran than they have shown for the United States of America.

The Republican representative scolded these Democrats, saying that they are “going to have to look at a mirror and say, whose side are you on if you can question something that actually makes America safer?”

Scalise stated: “Any responsible commander-in-chief would have done the same thing, but President Trump’s the one who did it, and I’m glad that the president had the fortitude to say we’re going to put America first. We’re going to protect America and our allies around the world by doing this. And you know, if somebody wants to criticize him for it, I think they’re going to have to look at a mirror and say, whose side are you on if you can question something that actually makes America safer?”
