When few people watch your morning cable news program, you have to do and say outrageous things to even register as a blip in our fast-moving 24-7-365 society.
So on Thursday, MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough, a former RINO lawmaker from Florida, did just that: He launched into an unhinged, shout-fest rant against the Capitol Police for being unable to prevent hundreds of people from invading the Capitol Building.

Oh, and for good measure, he threw in some lies about President Donald Trump while tarring all of his supporters as members of a “cult.”
“I think a lot of us have questions, a lot of questions, not just for Donald Trump — I’ve got no questions for Donald Trump, he’s an insurrectionist,” Scarborough said. “He should be arrested today, he should be sent to jail today…but I do wonder this morning, why they weren’t better prepared for this.”
He went on to explain how, as a congressman, Capitol Police would “scream” at him and others for seemingly minor infractions such as walking across a street without a “walk” signal and for other things.
But they didn’t seem prepared to do much to stop the people breaking into the Capitol (though videos posted online clearly show that officers were outnumbered heavily).
“Politely opening the door for terrorists who had scrawled on the door, ‘Murder the media?’” Scarborough continued. “And then letting the terrorists walk out of the same Capitol they had laid siege to and threaten the lives of members of the House and members of the Senate.”
“There has to be an investigation. How many of these Capitol Hill cops are members of Donald Trump’s cult?” Scarborough, voice rising, railed. “How many?”
“It is a cult,” added co-host and wife Mika Brzezinski, who went on to claim that the crowds were not treated more roughly because most of the protesters were white.
“If these insurrectionists were black they would have been shot in the face,” an agreeing Scarborough exclaimed. “And my God, if these insurrectionists were Muslim they would have been sniped from the top of buildings.”

Then, he just completely went off the rails. (Language alert)
“So I wanna know from Capitol Police,” Scarborough yelled. “What is it, just white people? Or is it just Donald Trump supporters? Why are you known as bada**ses around the Capitol but then Trump supporters come in and you open the f**king doors for them?”
