Does the intimidation of a judge over a certain ruling on a case sound like something out of America, or the darkest depths of cartel territory?

While it might sound like something that would happen in Medellin in the 80s or Mexico during the height of the drug war, the intimidation of judges is happening right now, right here, in the United States of America, with the highest court in the land being the target of black-clad thugs.

Particularly, radical, pro-abortion leftists are making a show of force outside of the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who they besieged on the evening before Mother’s Day thanks to his decision to vote with the majority in Dobbs to reject Roe and return the abortion issue to the states.

Infuriated by his focus on the Constitution rather than on maintaining the horrific abortion regime, the radical leftists surrounded his home and started “peacefully protesting”, making a naked display of force that must have terrified Justice Kavanaugh’s young children and was clearly meant to intimidate Justice Roberts’:

Commenting on what was happening at the time, Alex Bruesewitz said:

BREAKING: Democrats have incited chaotic protests outside of the homes of conservative Justices.

Hundreds of deranged pro-abortion leftists are outside of Brett Kavanaugh’s home with his young children inside.

While Psaki and the rest of the Democrats might try to dismiss this as protected activity, as peaceful protesting, it’s not. It’s the attempted intimidation of a judge, which is highly illegal under federal law, as was pointed out by conservative commentators on Twitter.

John Cardillo, for instance, said:

This is a violation of federal law.

Intimidating a federal judge in an attempt to influence their decision is a federal crime.

Where is the trash DOJ?

Similarly, Human Events editor and conservative commentator Jack Posobiec, commenting on the horrifying behavior, said:

I want to be very clear about something

Everyone knows those Antifa are breaking federal law by showing up at judges’ homes

And nothing will happen to them, bc they are the street thugs of the regime

And while it might sound like hyperbole to call a protest illegal, in this case they’re probably right. That’s because of the obvious intent of the radicals, which is to intimidate a judge, Justice Kavanaugh.

Though protests are usually protected speech, they are not protected, much less legal, if the purpose of the protest or picketing, as was happening outside Kavanaugh’s house, is to intimidate a judge. That’s made quite clear by 18 USC Section 1507, which provides that:

Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

Nothing in this section shall interfere with or prevent the exercise by any court of the United States of its power to punish for contempt.

Showing up at a judge’s house and picketing or protesting in an attempt to influence or intimidate the judge, as these radicals are doing to Kavanaugh, is illegal. Where are the police? Why weren’t all of these radicals arrested? Because they’re leftists.
