“SUCK IT UP”: Rep Cori Bush Throws Tantrum on Live Air Defending her $200k Security Force While Simultaneously Calling to Defund the Police

During an interview on Thursday with CBS News, Democratic Representative Cori Bush went on one of the most insane rants on live air while defending her $200,000 security force while simultaneously calling to defund the police.

Over the past week, Bush has been sleeping outside of the Capitol to protest the end of the eviction moratorium due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the stunt, Bush has been called a hypocrite considering she has spent tens of thousands of dollars on private security while calling to defund the police.

During the interview with CBS, anchor Vladimir Duthiers urged Bush to respond to the criticism.

“They would rather I die?” Bush raged. “You would rather me die? Is that what you want to see? You want to see me die? You know because that could be the alternative.”

Bush, not realizing the irony of her comments, then said that she needs security because her life could be in danger and has “too much work to do.”

“So suck it up, and defunding the police has to happen,” she continued.

She then pulled the “white supremacist” card out of her back pocket.

“I have private security because my body is worth being on this planet right now,” she said, claiming “a white supremacist, racist narrative” is trying to stifle her.

Conservatives quickly made sure to call out Bush for her absurd comments
