Another day on the campaign trail means another day where Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden makes an embarrassing gaffe.

On Friday while speaking in New Hampshire, Biden seemed to forget about his and former President Barack Obama’s 8 years in office when he referred to George W. Bush as the “last president.”

“I’m the only guy that’s beaten the NRA, and my state is a big gun-owning state because of hunting,” Biden claimed.

“I’m the only guy that’s beaten them twice. I got assault weapons banned for 10 years, it had to be reauthorized because of hanging chads in Florida. The last president said no, I’m not going to reauthorize it.”

Biden was talking about the 10-year assault weapon ban that was not reauthorized under President George W. Bush. The ban was initially created under the Bill Clinton administration.

Bush was not the “last president” in office. Obama was and Biden was his Vice President.

During the same appearance, Biden slipped up and made another embarrassing comments when he referred to Charlottesville, Virginia as “Charlotte.”

Biden’s memory has been slipping big time on the campaign trail. In late August, Biden appeared to forget Obama’s name when discussing how Crimea was annexed by Russia.

“They invaded another country and annexed a significant portion of it, called Crimea,” Biden said. He then added, “He’s saying that it was President … my boss … it was his fault.”

This is just one of the many slip-ups Biden has had since he announced his candidacy.

Back in August, Biden seemed to think that Marin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy had died in the 70s even though they both died in the 60s. He also asked his audience to “imagine what would have happened if, God forbid, Barack Obama had been assassinated after becoming the de facto nominee.”

Biden can’t seem to complete a public appearance without damaging his own reputation.

One embarrassing gaffe from Biden came when he was talking to a crowd and said that “poor kids are just as bright as white kids.”

“We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented, as white kids.” He quickly added, “Wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids, no I really mean it, but think how we think about it.”

Should Nancy Pelosi Be Removed From Office?

One of the most entertaining gaffes came when Biden said “we choose truth over facts.”

“Everybody knows who Donald Trump is. Even his supporters know who he is. We got to let him know who we are. We choose unity over division,” he said. “We choose science over fiction; we choose truth over facts.”

It doesn’t stop there. Recently, Biden made the claim that he was Vice President during the Parkland shooting which took place in 2018. Biden was out of office in January of 2017.

Biden said to reporters that “those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president.”
