After the horrible El Paso, Texas shooting that left over 20 people dead over the weekend, Democrats and the far-left media rushed to pin the blame on President Donald Trump.

The President punched back on Monday in a tweet: “The Media has a big responsibility to life and safety in our Country. Fake News has contributed greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over many years. News coverage has got to start being fair, balanced and unbiased, or these terrible problems will only get worse!”

Almost all of the far-left Democratic Presidential candidates blamed President Trump for the shooting including his “racism” and “white supremacy.”

“We have a president of the United States who is particularly responsible,” far-left Senator Cory Booker said on “Meet the Press.”

“In my faith, you have this idea that you reap what you sow, and he is sowing seeds of hatred in this country, this harvest of hate violence that we are seeing right now lies at his feet,” Booker stated. “There is a complicity in the president’s hatred that undermines the goodness and decency of Americans.”

Booker also made sure to make his way over to CNN to slander the President. “I think at the end of the day, especially because this was the white supremacist manifesto… that Donald Trump is responsible for this. He is responsible because he is stoking fears and hatred and bigotry.” he said.

Former Vice President Joe Biden also blamed the President for the shooting.

“We can’t fix a problem if we refuse to name it: white nationalism. An ideology emboldened by a president who stokes the flames of hatred and coddles white supremacists with messages of support,” Biden said. “We must do what Trump won’t: condemn this evil and eradicate it from our society.”

Biden seemed to not realize that President Trump did in fact condemn the evil act.

“Today’s shooting in El Paso, Texas was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice. I know that I stand with everyone in this Country to condemn today’s hateful act,” Trump said. “There are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people. Melania and I send our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the people of Texas,” he said shortly after the shooting.

The President later announced that the American flags at all federal buildings would be lowered to half-staff and also promised action.

“We cannot let those killed in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio die in vain,” Trump tweeted on Monday. “Likewise for those so seriously wounded. We can never forget them, and those many who came before them.”

“Republicans and Democrats must come together and get strong background checks, perhaps marrying this legislation with desperately needed immigration reform,” he added. “We must have something good, if not GREAT, come out of these two tragic events!”
