The vast, vast majority of Americans are not racists and bigots and are sick and tired of Democrats insinuating that they are, but that hasn’t stopped the Gaslighting Party from continuing to do it.
The latest to do so is “Squad” member Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, whose dedication to her Palestinian heritage is only surpassed by her demonstrable anti-Semitism (so who is she to lecture anyone about bigotry, right?).
In an interview with the far-left and misnamed “Democracy Now” group, Tlaib claimed, without merit or evidence, that President Donald Trump would be handily convicted following his second impeachment if he were black.
“If it was somebody that looked like me, if it was President Barack Obama, there would be no question that he would be held accountable. He would be convicted,” she said.
.@RashidaTlaib suggests that if President Trump wasn't white, he would be convicted by the Senate.

“He’d be removed from office,” Tlaib continued. “He would never, ever be able to run again. He wouldn’t ever be able to get public benefits.”
Let’s put this outlandish and patently racist statement to the test, shall we?
Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president, illegally ran guns into Mexico (at least one of which was later used by a Mexican cartel thug to kill a U.S. Border Agent, Brian Terry); allowed his IRS to illegally block conservative organizations from registering as non-profits ahead of the 2012 election; sent no military assistance to support his own ambassador who was being targeted and killed in Benghazi; issued an unconstitutional order nullifying federal law to protect illegal immigrants; and then spied on his successor.
And for exactly none of these things was he impeached, let alone convicted – though he certainly should have been.
So no, Tlaib’s accusation is nothing more than typical Democrat gaslighting, and in a political and cultural environment so volatile (thanks to Democrat and liberal media gaslighting) that even the smallest incident can literally ignite a tinderbox.
Speaking of impeachment and conviction, if the Constitution allows former presidents to be targeted after they leave office (it doesn’t), we are assuming that Republicans will indeed to after Obama when they are again in the majority, yes?
